What Makes Loulé Med Festival 2026 So Special?

The first Med Festival in Loulé was in 2004. Since then the festival has grown in size, artist and culture.

The Loulé Med Fesitval is special as it’s held in the historic heart of Loulé, a city nestled in Portugal’s Algarve. The Loulé Med Festival is known for its world music celebration, multicultural performances, and street life vibrancy,

The Loulé Med Festival is back for its 22nd edition in 2026.

 This year’s event — MED.26 — runs from June 25 to 28, 2026.

The 28th June is  Open Day (free entry), no live bands playing on this day, but you can walk through the roads of the old town of Loulé and see the arts and crafts, taste the great street food and listen to some music.

Where Can I buy tickets to the 2026 Loulé Med Festival?

The best  and quickest way to avoid spending time in long lines is to  buy tickets to the 2026 Med Festival is online.

You also have the option of buying your tickets locally in Loulé. There will be ticket booths in front of the main entrance to the festival which is oposite to the main gates of the Loulé Market (Praça da Republica) to Med Festival in Loulé. You can also purchase your tickets at the Loulé Cineteatro ( Avenida Costa Mealha). 

As this is a very popular festival you could be waiting in line for a while to get your tickets. We highly recommend buying them online and start enjoying your evening as soon as you arrive.

How much are the entry tickets to the Loule Med Festival in 2026?

If you buy your tickets before the 22nd June the prices are as follows;

Daily tickets: 10 euros per adult.

Family Ticket: 35 euros (2 adults + 2 Children up to  16 years of age)

3 Day Event Ticket: 30 euros valid for the 3 days

If you buy your tickets from the 23rd of June 2026.

Daily tickets: 15 euros per adult.

Family Ticket: 40 euros (2 adults + 2 Children up to  16 years of age)

3 Day Event Ticket: 40 euros valid for the 3 days

Children up to and including the age of 12 years old do not pay entry ticket.

Where to Park at the Loulé Med Festival?

Loulé offers parking options for the Loulé Med Festival. 

You have at least 6 car park options for the festival. All within easy walking distance of the festival. 

We have provided you with a map showing the best car park areas in Loulé for the Med Festival.

You can also try street parking in the residential areas. Please do not park in front of garages or driveways. You may not find your car in the same location as you left it. The police will have your car towed away if you park in areas not permitted.

As parking is limited, and to ensure you get a parking space we highly recommend you arrive early to get the best parking spot. 

Is the Loulé Med Festival Suitable for Children and Families?

Is the the Loulé Med Festival suitable for Kids? Yes, it is, they will have a great time. The Med Kids Area is a dedicated area especially for the young ones where they can play games, learn traditional stories, they can draw and paint amongst other activities daily.

Every night between 9pm and 10:30 pm there will be story telling. 

The Med Kids Area is ideal for  Children between the age of 6 and 12 years old. Each child can stay up to 2 hours in this Med Kids Area.

Kids will also enjoy the concerts that will be performing throughout the night.
